They made it so easy to come visit and see the puppies. After we lost our 15yr old lab, we weren't sure about getting another one. But we have friends who had puppies from Barry’s previous litters and they were beautiful and well behaved. Came across this lovely breeder while attending a Yoga with Puppies class on my birthday last month, with no intention of getting a puppy. One of the beautiful pups decided he was meant to be with me and my husband called John, the breeder, much to our surprise, all 7 were unclaimed at 6 weeks of age. What impressed me about John was just how much he cares about the well being of his pups. Since I have had now Bailey, formerly Cupid, he has been in contact with me, sending Bailey’s grands information, checking in to see how he is doing, asking for updates with vet appointments etc. and in getting to know John, I believe he will always wonder how all his pups are out in the world. He is very deliberate in choosing dogs to breed, with Bailey’s father being from Serbia. No cross breeding here. The farm is beautiful, with horses and cows and other animals. I actually felt bad upon arriving for taking Bailey out of such a lovely place to live. I was greeted by Bailey’s grandmother, sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch…being evaluated. I think her response to me was John’s tell if I was worthy of one of his sweet pups. This particular pup-is the 5th dog, 4th golden, that I have had the pleasure of raising-is simply fabulous. I am sure he will turn in a T-rex soon, as most pups do, but currently he is curious, bold, calm and quick to learn. Much faster than our other goldens. He is going to be a wonderful companion to our other two dogs. Thank you John…and Evie, for our wonderful dog. I have had several puppies in my life and Otie is the smartest, easiest to train, sweetest most loveable boy ever. The 1st 2 months of a pups life are crucial and Barry and his family do such a great job socializing and getting these pups ready for the world. Otie was a breeze to potty train, it only took a couple weeks and no accidents since. He is super eager to learn new things and knows all his basic commands already! We can take him everywhere, everyone loves him and he gets tons of pets and belly rubs. He has never met a stranger, human or canine, and is just the happiest sunshiniest little soul. I did a TON of breeder research before I settled on 4Cs. We give him lots of love and spend a lot of time with him, but I know Otis is so wonderful because he has fantastic genes, thanks to responsible breeding, and had the perfect start in life at the 4C's farm. Fabulous experience! Breeder was super sweet and drove to meet me closer to my town, which was a huge help. My pup is truly the very best. I was able to completely potty train him in ine week, which has never happened to me before. Hes adapting so well and i couldn't have asked for a better puppy and a better experience all around with the breeder. You can tell they love their animals and take very good care of them. The farm is lovely and not to mention these English cream Goldens are absolutely beautiful!
