Buyer Agreement

1. Veterinary Examination Requirement

Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within one (1) week of taking possession of the puppy to verify that the puppy is in good and sound health.

If the Veterinarian determines that the puppy is at risk due to a congenital defect (a condition existing at birth), the Buyer must:

  • Notify the Breeder immediately

  • Provide a written statement from a licensed Veterinarian describing the puppy’s condition

  • Return the puppy along with registration papers to the Breeder within three (3) days of the examination

Upon return, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued.

2. Non-Covered Conditions

This health guarantee does not cover:

  • Worms

  • Fleas

  • Mites

  • Ticks

  • Coccidia

  • Giardia

  • Any other common parasites

These conditions are common in dogs and puppies and are not grounds for return.

This guarantee also does not cover:

  • Ingestion of foreign objects

  • Ingestion of improper food or chemicals

  • Illness contracted after leaving the Breeder’s environment (including but not limited to Parvo)

  • Physical injury occurring after the Buyer has taken possession of the puppy

3. Notification of Death

In the unfortunate event of the puppy’s death, the Breeder must be notified within forty-eight (48) hours.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees that the puppy will receive:

  • Proper veterinary care

  • Required vaccinations

  • Appropriate nutrition

These responsibilities apply for the duration of the puppy’s life.

5. Restriction on Transfer of Ownership

The Buyer agrees to never sell, give, trade, or transfer ownership of this puppy to:

  • Any large commercial breeding establishment

  • Any agent

  • Any wholesaler

  • Any party not included in the original Purchase Agreement

6. Breeder’s First Right of Refusal

If at any time during the life of the dog the Buyer decides they cannot keep the puppy, the Buyer must notify the Breeder.

The Breeder will have the first option to repurchase the dog or will assist in finding a suitable new home for the dog.
